Delete database
Databases can only be deleted by the owner/administrator of the selected database.
Be aware that this action cannot be reversed and all other potential users of the database will of course be affected.

Click on File to go to the backstage section, select Database and click Delete selected database.

Enter the password of the root user of the database. Ask your IT department to assist if needed as you might not know the password of the root user/login of the database.

Confirm the delete action twice and the database will be definitely deleted together with the associated configuration file on the local connection.
Note: the database to be deleted may not be the one currently opened. To close the opened database, in the backstage section, select Database, select Open database and click on the button Log off connection on the top right of the window.
