Microplate reading
The Microplate reading tool allows to connect a plate reader to a computer running BioloMICS and quickly perform an analysis of samples and retrieve the results.

Connect the microplate reader to the work station (laptop, computer, etc.) and insert the microplate into the reader.

Under Other Tools, in the Miscellaneous group, click Microplate auto reader.

Select the reader (number 4). For the moment, three readers are available to connect to BioloMICS: Asys Digiscan, Labsystem and Molecular Devices Emax.

Define which number of Communication port (number 5) is used to connect the microplate reader with the computer running BioloMICS and the Filter number (number 6) of the reader.

Select if the samples are in a 96 wells microplate or in a 384 wells microplate.

A Multiple reading allows defining several readings to be performed in a certain interval of time, in seconds, that has to be set in Interval between readings.

When all the parameters are specified, click on Start reading (number 1).Results will be automatically saved in the grid.
