Migration to new BioAware servers

As per November 2019 BioAware is using new servers. All hosted clients will soon be migrated to the new servers.
 
What is the reason for the migration?
BioAware has new servers with Windows 10 running. Access to your database will be done by connecting to the new server (https://citrix.bio-aware.com).
 
How do I connect to the new server?
A remote meeting is needed to move current users from the old/current server to the new one. Please send an email to BioAware to make an appointment to do the migration together.
 
What do I need to have before we start the remote meeting?
We ask you to have your Citrix and BioloMICS login details ready. We will ask you during the meeting to enter those details.
 
What will be done exactly during the remote meeting?
There are a number of steps we have to take to make sure you are well migrated to the new server.
1.     We will first make sure you are logged off from the old/current server.
2.     Then, on the BioAware side, we have to perform a few steps to make your profile ready.
3.     When that is done, we will go to the clients PC and go to: https://citrix.bio-aware.com
  • When Citrix workspace app is installed then we can use that to make the connection to the new server.
4.     If you open the Desktop version then there are a few things to do/keep in mind
  • The current shortcut to BioloMICS on the desktop will not work anymore. The good one can be found in the Start button in the folder “BioloMICS”. You can drag it to your desktop if you prefer to have a shortcut there directly.
  • If you want to stop the Desktop version, then go to the Start button, click on the user icon on the top left and click: Sign out
 
Please note that once you have access to the new server we kindly ask you to not use the old server access anymore.
