Synonymy viewer

 
  • To open the Synonymy viewer, select a Synonymy field in the tree, then under Other Tools, in the Modules group, click Open Synonymy Viewer.
     
     
     
  • Use the search box on top of the grid to find the records to be used in the Synonymy viewer.
     
  • To see the synonymy of a given record, drag the record from the left list to the Selected record section on the right.
     
  • Then drag the records from the left to the correct place in the synonymy list on the right, or use the arrow button pointing to the right, to place the record.
     
  • To remove a record from the synonymy list, select it and click on the arrow button pointing to the left.
     
  • Use the following buttons to manage the errors in the synonymy field.

Load errors

1. Load errors
Load by batch all records of the given table. Analyze their synonymy and display only records with erroneous values.
You can Cancel this operation from the usual profess bar at the bottom right of your screen.
The already loaded errors will be displayed in any case.

Check database

Load the current synonymy field and check that:
- obligate synonyms share the same current name as their basionym.
- obligate and current name IDs point to existing records.

Select the first error found in the record list displayed in the grid below.

Starting from the current focused row, select the previous error found in the record list displayed in the grid below.

Starting from the current focused row, select the next error found in the record list displayed in the grid below.

Select the last error found in the record list displayed in the grid below.
