Records compilation

 
  • To open the Records compiler, under Other Tools, in the Miscellaneous group, click Compile records.
     
     
  • Select the records to be merged in the top-left grid (step 1). Note: the records displayed are the records in the underlying table.
     
  • Include only the fields to be merged in the top-right grid (step 2). Use right-click to include or exclude all or selected fields.
     
  • Click on Add record to add the selected records in step 1 to the List of records to be merged (step 3).
     
    Click Delete record to remove the selected record(s) from the List of records to be merged (step 3).
     
  • To save the compiled records in an existing record, check the checkbox "Save in existing record".
     
  • In step 3, select the record that should keep the final data.
     
  • Click Save to merge the records that are in the lower grid (step 3).
     
  • For a new compiled record, give a meaningful record name.
