Results that be encoded in this field are either, '-', '+', 'w' (=weak), 'd' (delayed), '-.+', '-,d,w', '+,d,w' or '?'. This was originally designed for results automatically obtained from 96 wells microplate readers. Arrays of any sizes between 2 and 5000 positions can be used as well.
