T - Create a new T field
The example below shows how to create a new T field with 4 states.

Open the Fields settings window and add a new field. For instructions see step 1 to 3 in Add new field to a table.

Provide the information in the wizard:

Field name Type of organism
-
Type T
-
Advanced options*

In your excel sheet, copy the states to clipboard (see subfields below; do not copy the header).

In BioloMICS, select the same number of cells in the Name column and click Paste. It is suggested to keep the first row (ID 0) as ?.

Select the unchanged cells in the Name column, and click Delete to remove the values.

After completing the wizard, add the field to a table view to be able to see it in the tree.
